Are you really that depressed with your NaNo, BTW? You shouldn't be. Something is always better than nothing, as I used to tell my students, because something is at least fixable.
No, no: Drawer it before that, and step away for a year or so. You'll thank yourself later. I once actually burned a whole pile of my old writing, back when I was twelve or so, including an entire notebook novel. If it's worth writing in the first place, it's worth keeping (and eventually cannibalizing for parts, if nothing else;)).
Heh! I don't think I'll actually burn it, thought I bet it'd make an impressive bonfire! I took your advice and have been avoiding it as of late, but it keeps calling me back... Trying to seduce me with its awkward syntax and spelling mistakes.
