"Pro-professor?" Harry gaped. Than gasped. Then giggled.

"This is not funny, Potter." McGonagall snapped, her eyes blazing. Her hat flopped forward over her frowning face, making her students laugh even louder at her misfortune. "Silence! I'll remind you that I am still your professor even though I am not... how I usually appear."

"Er, Professor..."

Blast that Hermione! Always had to add something! Still stuggling with the now ill-fitting clothes, McGonagall was quickly loosing the little patience she had. "What is it?"

Hermione cleared her throat, unsure of how to handle the situation. "Ma'am, the Headmaster seems to have... changed too."

So busy with her cloak, McGonagall had failed to notice the additon to her classroom. "Albus! You too?"

All the students turned; only observent hermione had heard his quiet entrance. Girls oo-ed, boys murmured, and Harry's jaw nearly popped out of its socket.

A rakishly handsome young man grinned and winked at the shocked students. "Nice day we're having, eh, Minerva?"

What If Snape was different?
Characters Harry and Snape

The students eagerly entered Potions Class, swarming in confused circles as they found their seats. No one had seen Professor Snape yet, but there were rumors.

Harry Potter looked around nervously, his quill twitching in his hands. A second year had said that Snape was horrible and the class impossible, but Harry still had hope. Hogwarts was amazing, even better than amazing!, so far. He nodded briefly, silently encouraging himself. Best to remain optimistic.

Professor Snape slammed the door and everyone looked up. Harry gulped. The rumors had to be wrong, Professor Snape was the most beautiful woman he'd ever seen!
