He had breezed into the audience of kings and queens as soon as he had properly received the Gerudo crown and without a breath of effort had adapted to the intricate royal society. His appearance frightened the weaker ones in obedience and his cruel intelligence forced the rest to begrudge him their respect. By the time he had reached his twentieth birthday he had gained enough power in the small kingdoms to make a claim for the throne of Hyrule. With the loyalties (and thus, armies) of foreign powers, Ganondorf could destroyed Hyrule, but he held back, biding his time. He craved for Hyrule's crown but he couldn't bring himself to harm the land with war. He wanted it perfect. Virginal.
