Oct. 23rd, 2003 05:00 pmCrookshank's eyes never left fluffy end of Hermione's quill. The cat was utterly fixated; every twitch he noted, every flick he watched in awe. It shouldn't have been a surprise to his owner, then, that he would pounce as soon as she put it down. But it did and before Hermione could even gasp Crookshanks had covered himself, the quill, the parchment, and her in black Indian ink. The saying may have been that curiousity killed the cat but by the look in her eyes it seemed that it would be Hermione who’d be the guilty party. Run, cat, run!
