jaebilityCompanions in DA2 don't talk enough. I miss the long conversations the Warden would have with her team, especially when they popped up as I was trying to loot an enemy. No, Alistair, right now is not a good make-out time as we are currently in the middle of a battle full of zombies. Morrigan, yes I'm glad you think of my as a sister, but I'm trying to disarm this trap.
It's a missed opportunity, I think.
And there's so much I want to hear about! Anders should be boasting about how he single-handedly saved the Warden Commander from eight dragons, a battalion of darkspawn, and a room stuffed with broodmothers all while drunk and naked. And then she swore ever-lasting loyalty and sex and Alistair was there too somehow and he swore his crown and even more sex, but Anders gently refused and rode off into the sunset on a griffon. Ok, that was Awakenings Anders, not DA2 Anders. Even if he has lost that swagger, he could still bring up the Warden Commander more often. There are tidbits of his past - he kept grumbling about how much he hated the Deep Roads when Hawke dragged him down there, and she got a comment or two about how much she reminded him of another of his friends who made him go on crazy adventures. But I'd love to hear more about how he actually viewed my Warden. If he liked her or resented her for conscripting him, if he understands her sacrifices better now and how hard her choices were. If he regrets tricking her into helping him, or if he wishes that he'd gotten away sooner.
It'd make an interesting fanfic, anyway, as far as I'm concerned. Same with Isabella, really. Or even Aveline, who was also at Ostagar. Hell, so was Hawke for that matter.
