Hi! My name's Takara and I was sort forwarded here from your Lord and Ladybird site. When I first found it, I was procrastinating and I admit, my first thought was "hmmm, a shrine to a crack pairing? I'll bite." XD
I'm glad I did.
Your essays were intelligent and well-thought out and I really enjoyed reading them. Then I read your fanfics and was blown away by the luscious world you conjured and the multi-faceted relationship you depicted between these two characters. You, dare I say it, have converted me to a pairing I would never have considered. That is nearly impossible to do and I tip my hat to ya!
Your drabbles are wonderful. I'm really looking forward to reading more, but it seems like it's been a while since you've written any Ganondorf/Malon. I totally understand if you've been busy, though I was wondering if you've lost interest? I hope not. ;) I also have some questions about your essays, but I'll email those to you.
And now an actual review for the above drabble XD: I love, love, love the tangibility of this piece, from the descriptions of her jewels to the sword fight. You really make the setting come alive (which was fortunate, as I believe this was the first G/M fic I read). I also love how you described Malon's relationship with Ganondorf through their actions, I got a good sense of how far out of her depth she was and how she sort of dances with the almost uneasy trust she has in him. This was a great feast scene and probably one of my favorites of your G/M collection.
