Bruce opened the door and looked with mild surprise at the woman in his car. "Selena?"
The cat stretched and yawned, her red lips spreading to reveal perfect white teeth. Choppers, Bruce thought as he stared.
She smiled up at him and although her mask hid most of her face, Bruce could tell that her grin was sincere. "Hiya."
"Needed a warm place to spend the night?"
"Something like that."
He climbed in, noting the bag at her feet.
"Mm, a warm bed in which to spend the night... Now that'd be nice. Or," she was practically purring now, "A warm lap."
