Eeee! The Princess Tutu Cute Meme! Must write some Ahiru/Fakir.

I loved loved loved this anime. I kept coming across threads about it on 4chan and finally decided to pick it up. A-FUCKING-MAZING. It's a show about a duck. Or maybe it's a show about a duck who dreams she's a girl. Or maybe it's about a girl who can transform into ballerina with magical power. Or maybe it's all of those things. Maybe it's about the power of stories. Maybe it's about the forces of good and evil. Maybe it's about the ambiguity of the forces of good and evil. Or maybe it's all of those things.

Hooray! Isn't it great?! My anime club showed it and even the boys couldn't wait for the next episode! I think its cute premise and cohesive storyline really helped make it good. I got it on Borders for thirty dollars, although the price may have changed. It's just wonderful!

I loved it! The show-within-a-show (within-a-show) trope was pulled off excellently. TVTropes describes it really well: "The story of The Prince and The Raven guides the characters both thematically and, in some cases, literally. It exists as both a living narrative and an actual novel that various characters read." Mind = blown.

And the characters are so adorable. Ahiru is just too cute. <3
